Load Flow Analysis:
A load flow study performed by inoLECT’s teams will model the effects of load changes or system configuration changes on the system power flow and system voltages. The recommendations provided will assist operators in ensuring efficient operation, minimizing operating losses, and maintaining reliability.
Voltage Drop Analysis:
Voltage drop is the reduction in voltage in an electrical circuit between the source and the load. It occurs when the voltage at the end of a run of cable is lower than at the beginning. This is caused by the resistance, or impedance, of the wires carrying electricity. Any length or size of wires will have some resistance, and running a current through this dc resistance will cause the voltage to drop. Voltage drop can cause equipment to malfunction, reduce potential energy, and result in an energy loss.
