inoLECT’s Technical Support team offers comprehensive, detailed user training courses on the inoRAC Remote Racking device. We cover basic user operations, physical components, installation, use on your specific switchgear and much more.

Classes can be performed onsite in your substation or conference room, or virtually from anywhere on the globe. Virtual courses can be recorded for later access.

The training session begins with an overview of the mechanical parts and components of the device and their intended purposes. If the device was ordered with a Pushbutton Accessory, Interlock Accessory, or other connection tooling, thorough training on how these components work and function is covered.  A part of this training will detail how to connect the accessories to the device, as well as the breakers, to aid in the automatic breaker racking function.

The instructor will cover the automatic racking procedure once a breaker is connected. We can perform this training on live switchgear, a spare breaker not being utilized, or our own demonstration breaker (in a conference room setting). The inoLECT representative will walk attendees through each screen, explaining options and settings, the safety checklist and other features of the device.

Once the inoLECT representative has completed the demonstration, each person in attendance is asked to use the device to complete an automatic racking function on the provided breaker to ensure that they are capable of using the device properly.  Questions from attendees during any part of the training are highly welcome and beneficial for the overall training. If there are team members chosen to be “champions” of the device, additional “Administrator” level training can be provided at any time.
